Two different search surfaces, measured two different ways.
Rank Prompt tracks whether AI assistants mention your brand. It runs prompts against ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, Claude, Gemini, and Grok, then scores how often you appear and which sources get cited. SEO Receipts measures Google Search itself, reading clicks and impressions from your own Search Console property and publishing them as a record other people can verify.
Clicks, impressions, position, and query data for your property in Google Search.
How often and how prominently your brand appears in answers from six named AI assistants, expressed as a visibility score.
Where the data comes from
First-party: the Google Search Console API, read-only, for a property your Google account can access.
Sampled: prompts are run against AI platforms and the answers are analyzed. Its site also mentions GA4 and Search Console connections.
Can an outsider verify it
Yes. That is the product. A public receipt shows verification state, date window, and metrics tied back to Search Console.
Scores are reported inside the tool for your own team and clients rather than published as an independently inspectable record.
Public output
Public leaderboard entry, receipt link, share image, embeddable live badge, and traffic duels.
Scheduled reports, dashboards, and on higher tiers a white-label client-facing suite.
Built for
Founders, consultants, and site owners who need one organic traffic claim to hold up in public.
Its site names enterprises, SaaS, e-commerce, agencies, and in-house SEO and content teams.
Pricing shape
Free public receipts, with paid plans for private Workbench features.
Credit-based tiers from Starter through Agency Plus, with a free trial. Check its pricing page for current amounts.

USE THEM TOGETHER
Watch the AI surface. Prove the Google one.
AI assistants and Google Search both send people to your site, and they behave differently enough that one number will not describe both. Measuring AI mentions is useful. It just is not the same evidence as a first-party click count.
01
Track the AI answers
Monitor whether assistants name you for the prompts your buyers actually type, and which sources they cite instead.
02
Fix what the citations reveal
If assistants cite a competitor's comparison page, that page is the gap. Write the better version.
03
Read the Google side at the source
Check clicks and impressions in Search Console rather than in any tool's estimate of your traffic.
04
Publish the claim
Create a receipt so the organic traffic figure you post carries a link a reader can inspect.
READ THE FINE PRINT
AI visibility scores and Search Console clicks are not the same kind of number.
AI-visibility tools work by sampling: they run a set of prompts and analyze the answers. Assistants are non-deterministic and personalized, so results vary between runs and between users, and no third-party tool has access to a platform's own logs. Treat a visibility score as a directional signal rather than a measurement. Search Console is first-party, but it has its own limits, including roughly two days of reporting lag and query omission for privacy. This page describes Rank Prompt from its own public marketing as of publication, and it is written by the person who builds SEO Receipts.
Does SEO Receipts track AI Overviews or ChatGPT mentions?+
No. It reports Google Search clicks and impressions from Search Console. Search Console does include clicks from results that appear alongside AI Overviews, but it does not break those out separately and it does not cover assistants like ChatGPT or Perplexity at all.
Can I use both on the same site?+
Yes. They measure different surfaces and neither blocks the other. A common setup is tracking AI visibility for competitive positioning while publishing a receipt for the Google traffic claim you want people to be able to check.
Why does an AI visibility score change between runs?+
Assistants generate answers probabilistically and personalize by context, so the same prompt can produce different sources on different days. Any tool measuring them is sampling behavior rather than reading a log, which is why the scores move without anything on your site changing.
If AI search is growing, is Search Console data still worth publishing?+
For most sites Google Search remains the largest measurable organic channel, and it is the only one with a first-party record you can verify. A receipt makes that number checkable, which no AI visibility score currently can be.
TRY THE PROOF LAYER
Measure the AI surface. Publish the one you can prove.
Connect one property, choose what stays private, and give your organic traffic claim a source behind it.
